This adapter is internally wired to convert Tascam AES cabling to the Yamaha pinout standard or Vice Versa. One side is Female 25 pin Dsub and the other side is Male. Choose if you want to convert Tascam to Yamaha or Yamaha to Tascam in the dropdown menu before ordering. This is to attach to EXISTING CABLING so you can use cabling made for one format with a device that needs wiring for the other format.
