PTFE Extruded Tubing is a versatile and highly reliable tubing solution. PTFE tubing products can be used in a large variety of applications due to its high chemical resistance, and its wide working temperature range. The PTFE tubing has been found to be resistant to all common solvents, acids and bases. Its working temperature range is -454°F to 500°F (-270°C to 260°C) which allows for use in all types of environments. The PTFE tubing also has one of the best electrical resistances. The tubing shows resistance to weathering and the coating gives it the lowest coefficient of friction of any polymer. PTFE is also Biocompatible – Certified USP Class VI and meets flammability rating UL 94-V0.
